All that glitters

So it's June - officially Summer. Well, it was until the weather turned grim again and I found myself pulling on my trusty old winter boots and digging out tights that had already begun hibernation at the back of my sock drawer. 

But anyway, as I hit the shops (mainly the virtual online shops rather than the real deal) I was completely drawn to all things glittery. Normally I associate glitter with New Years Eve and Christmas trees. But now, now it's a different story entirely. Wether it's a super sequin-ey dress, ultra shiny shoes, or glittery nail varnish I think it's about time we get our sparkle on. Here's what made it to the top three of my most desired and metallic-tastic wishlist:

1. Gorgeous sequin skater dress from TopShop. I picked this up while I was out shopping with a reluctant bf in tow. He was less than impressed and said he reckoned I looked like a disco ball. But that's OK, we ignore the boys...

2. Models Own Disco Heaven and Ibiza Mix nail varnish. These little beauts are already on their way to me and I can't wait to get my glitter bomb on the day they drop on to my doormat!

3. Not necessarily glittery but shiny none the less, totally drop dead fab-u-LARSE platform shoe boots from Missguided's exclusive Peace + Love range. I'll be scraping my pennies together this month to get my feet in these. Not exactly beachwear but oh-so dancefloor ready.
